The admissions for Merebrook Infant school are all coordinated by Milton Keynes council. The website for this is:

This website will give you the opportunity to apply for a school place and the admissions procedures we follow as a school.
Admissions to Reception year in September 2026 are made from October 2025 to January 2026. If your child was born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 then your child will be eligible to start school in September 2026.

The catchment for our school is Furzton and the following roads on Emerson Valley: Alstonefield, Archford Croft, Banktop Place, Beresford Close, Burholme, Carwell Close, Coldeaton Lane (even numbers), Chipping Vale (numbers 2 6 and 1 9), Crosslow Bank, Edstone Place, Fadmoor Place, Gillamore Close, Gratton Court, Hawkshead Drive, Hodder Lane, Pickering Drive (numbers 14- 26 and 13- 35), Rusland Circus (between the junctions of Hodder Lane and Pickering Drive), Ryton Place, Staple Oak and Wolfscote Lane. The south east corner of Furzton is shared between Cold Harbour CE School and Merebrook/Emerson Valley Schools.
As we are an Infant school children start our school in Reception and stay for years 1 and 2. If you are looking for a school place for years 3, 4, 5 or 6 please see the website for Emerson Valley School. This is our partnership school and the closest Junior school to which most of our children go to. They are also part of the 5 Dimension Trust.
Children are also admitted to other year groups throughout the year if there are places available.
The Local Authority School Admissions Team co-ordinate all school admissions. They process all applications and will contact you to let you know if a place has been allocated.
The 5 Dimension trust manage the appeal process for Merebrook Infant School. If you wish to appeal a school place, please contact the school office in the first instance.
Admissions Consultation
The Trustees of 5 Dimensions Trust are consulting on the admission arrangements for Merebrook Infant School
The main proposed changes are:
- Rewording the oversubscription criteria to change from children of school staff to children of Trust staff
- restructuring the oversubscription criteria to raise the category of children of staff who are employed at the school to priority 4
- Removal of 'Children eligible for the service premium'
