Welcome
We are delighted that you will become part of our Merebrook family from September 2021 and are excited to be able to welcome your child through our gates in September. Nothing matters more to us than your child walking into school with a big, confident smile on their face.
In order to prepare your child for school the most important thing you can do at this time is to talk to them. Talk positively about starting school, meeting new friends and teachers. Please take the time to look through the ‘Starting at Merebrook Infant School book' that is within your Information Pack as well as together, watch the virtual tour and teacher messages below.
You will also find at the bottom of this page links to the following documents for your information.
1. 'All About Me'. This is a transition activity for you to complete with your child over the summer. Please support and encourage your child to complete it and send the completed activity in to school when they start with us in September.
2. A typical day in Early Years and the Curriculum on offer which we would usually share with parents at an open evening at this time.
We hope that the information shared below, together with the information pack already sent to you, will help in preparing your child starting school.
